Stainless steel and nickel alloys – vessels, process equipment, welded assemblies
We manufacture process equipment, vessels, manifolds and plant components in austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys for the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries.
Materials
- 1.4301/1.4307, 1.4401/1.4404, 1.4541, 1.4571
- Alloy 625 (2.4856), C-276 (2.4819), Alloy 22 (2.4602), Alloy 825, Alloy 800H/HT
Material from European producers, inspection certificates 3.1 to EN 10204.
Welding
- qualified welding personnel to EN ISO 9606; nickel alloys – material group 43 to ISO/TR 15608, up to 25 mm
- WPS/WPQR; qualification of new procedures per project
- pressure equipment up to category II under 2014/68/EU
- ISO 3834, EN 1090
Protection against contamination
Stainless steel is processed at separate workstations with tools not used for carbon steel. This prevents free-iron contamination and pitting corrosion.
Surface treatment
- pickling and passivation – local or by immersion
- electropolishing
- grinding and polishing, roughness Ra with measurement report
Inspection and documentation
- Non-destructive testing (NDT): VT, PT, UT – scope as required by the customer
- dimensional inspection with report
- coating thickness measurement
- inspection certificates 3.1, welding documentation
- final inspection before shipment
Typical products
- vessels, non-pressurised and pressurised
- process equipment
- manifolds, distributors, pipe assemblies
- conical bottoms
- channels, covers, frames
- formed parts to drawing
